Former Twisters Standout Juli Black 
Named Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week

Kudos to Charlotte 49er Freshman Goalkeeper Juli Black for being named the Atlantic 10 Conference Rookie of the Week for her stellar play in goal in recording back-to-back shutouts against Xavier and Dayton. The former 86 Twisters and Ragsdale High School keeper is enjoying a terrific first year in Charlotte.

2005 adidas Labor Day Shootout Boasts 
Largest Field Ever in its 23rd Year
September 2005
Over 230 teams from throughout our region and the Eastern United States traveled to Greensboro to compete in the 23rd Annual adidas Labor Day Shootout. Their were too many great performances on the field to mention individually, but many thanks to all the teams that participated this year.

There were many terrific games involving Greensboro Twisters teams. Particularly notable results were logged by the 88 Twisters Gold, by winning there competitive U-17 Division. Also, congratulations to the 92 Twisters White, who were Finalists in their U-13 Division.

Thanks to all the parent volunteers that worked to make this event a tremendous success!
